Gramática y discurso : perspectivas, temas y debates en lenguas de América

Abstract

El dossier “Estudios sobre gramática y discurso en lenguas de América” se compone de cuatro artículos sobre lenguas diferentes, mapudungun (aislada), aché (tupí-guaraní), ayoreo (zamuco) y yaqui (yuto-azteca). Esta introducción se inicia con un recorrido por perspectivas, temas, y debates en torno a esta problemática, ilustrándolo con investigaciones y avances sobre lenguas americanas. El propósito es mostrar el contexto en el que se insertan los cuatro trabajos y su relevancia para los debates sobre el tema. Concluimos con una breve síntesis de las contribuciones que componen este volumen. The collection entitled “Studies in Grammar and Discourse in the Languages of the Americas” comprises four articles focused on different languages, Mapudungun (isolate), Aché (Tupi-Guaraní), Ayoreo (Zamuco), and Yaqui (Uto-Aztecan). This introduction starts by reviewing the current state of the art on the subject, providing extensive illustration of research and advances on languages of the Americas. The aim is to contextualize the featured works and their significance in the ongoing research landscape. We conclude by sketching a brief overview of the contributions in this volume
