dc.description.abstract	La figuración del indio en la gauchesca ha tenido, mayormente, connotaciones negativas. Sin embargo, en algunos casos esto no ha sido así. La obra de Bartolomé Hidalgo muestra, en medio del candor emancipador y revolucionario, una mirada positiva de esa subjetividad. Pero ese contenido semántico de los poemas se ve limitado por la realización del propio artificio gauchesco que elude toda posibilidad de una voz para el indio. Este trabajo busca ser un primer paso en una reconstrucción de las apariciones de esta subjetividad en la gauchesca. Reconstrucción que se encuentra guiada por una hipótesis: si el gaucho logró la preponderancia cultural que tiene en el andamiaje simbólico de la nación argentina, la gauchescadebe haber tenido un rol en ese proceso más allá de la influencia del Martín Fierroy su posterior canonización. Hidalgo, en tanto emergente que consolida al género, también aportósu parte a la forma de esa tradición tan nacional.
dc.description.abstract	The representation of the indio in the gauchesca has had, for the most part, negative connotations. However, in some cases this has not been the case. Bartolomé Hidalgo's work shows, in the midst of emancipatory and revolutionary candor, a positive view of that subjectivity. But, this semantic content of thepoems is limited by the realization of the gauchesca artifice itself, which eludes any possibility of a voice for the indio. This work seeks to be a first step in a reconstruction of the appearances of the indio in the patriotic literary genre. Reconstruction that is guided by a hypothesis: if the gaucho achieved the cultural preponderance that he has in the symbolic scaffolding of the Argentine nation, the gauchesca must have had a role in that process beyond the influence of Martín Fierro and his subsequent canonization. Hidalgo, while emerging that consolidates the genre, also gave his part to the figure of that very national tradition.	en
